These are two veeery good foundations but not sure about which one to buy, (chanel's must be quite expensive right?) I really like kat von d cause they say it doesn't make your skin break out and the coverage is full yet if you apply it properly with a brush it gives an airbrush effect (which I love) moreover it is a huge bottle and tge packaging is so detailed and elegant.on the other hand chanel's say is the best foundation ever for aaalmost the same reasons,..your opinion?

I got a sample of Kat Von D and I wasn't a big fan of it :c I expected so much and got so little out of it.

The Chanel foundation is incredible! It doesn't even look like I'm wearing foundation!

Okay well those have a big difference. the chanel is very light coverage while the lock it is full on coverage. and don't let the packaging fool you, they are both just 1 oz of prouduct, read the label and you will see. chanel is expensive and not worth it I'd say, I have it and it was almost a waste of money. but many of my peers have said the lock it gets cakey easially

I have the Kat Von D foundation and I absolutely love it! One pump is enough for your whole face so it last a whole for me! I'd say do Kat Von D.

I haven't tried the Kat Von D myself, but Chanel has very light coverage that just evens out your skin tone. However, the coverage is definitely buildable on days when you need it. But if you're someone who leans towards a flawless finish instead of a more "my skin but better" look, then go for the Kat Von D!

The Kat Von D. Is not the greatest for people with sensitive skin, so if you break out a lot it's not the greatest. Get a sample of it at a sephora and see for yourself. Also get a sample of a primer, most girls there usually won't go with the Kat Von D. Primer because it doesn't make it last long, but a silicone based primer like the too faced primed and poreless and the smashbox photo finish work well with it for full matte coverage. Use the primers with the foundation and use the foundation by itself and see what you feel works better. If it doesn't work at all then go with the Chanel, I honestly just recently realized that price should never be an issue with your skin and papering yourself. Plus the more it costs, the more benefits are involved in the foundation that are going to have long term effects
