My hair is turning all dry, and gets tangled fast. I hate the way it feels. Does braiding it before bed do any good? I'm new to this I'd really appreciate. Thanks!! (:

You can also put oil on and then braid, to help with softness. :)

My hair is fried bad, it feels like straw and is still and tangly. I made a hair mask and slept in it and it's amazingly soft tangle free and there's practically no split ends!
Half an avocado
1/4 cup coconut oil (I had none so I used olive)
1 egg
Mash it all together. Massage into scalp well with finger tips, careful not to use your nails. Then work the mask down to you ends, twist it up and then wrap your head. Leave it in for at least an hour (I sleep in it) then wash your hair real well with shampoo to make sure it's all out of your hair, then condition with a good moisturizing conditioner. Comb it out and leave to air dry. Seriously, most amazing thing I've ever put in my hair!!

My mum says you should always braid before you sleep I don't know if it will help to repair your hair, you will need a mask but you hair won't break in akward places so it might be a little help.

Once your hair goes dry you can put masks to mend the dryness for a short while but there's no going back it needs to be cut off.

I like to braid mine before bed as a protective style. If you put setting lotion in it as well, the next day when you undo them they will hold a pretty wave all day. :) [Heat free? I think yes!]
