Instead of black try a medium brown or olive green! look on youtube so many helpful videos! :)

I have done black, and I'm also pale ish. I didn't like it at all. Try plums, will be killer if you're eyes are green like mine, our bronze or gold, if you're eyes are blue. You can do browns and make a more subtle look. I how I helped! I'll post a picture for you. :) inspiration.
