Cut the end off of a sock, roll it into a donut shape, put your hair up in a high ponytail, put your hair through the hole in the sock, and wrap your hair around the sock until its no longer visible. Then tie it off and you'll have a perfect big bun.

Tease for a fuller bun or use second day old hair! (best to work with)
Little strand you can do is tuck them on or use bobbie pins!!

I have extremely layered, medium (longest layer is about 5" past my shoulder) length hair, and whenever I tie my hair back there are little strands that fall out. Could I braid them back? And how can I make a fuller looking bun?
