My lips are always chapped and dry. It makes it super hard to wear lipstick because I'm paranoid about how it looks on my dry lips. I try to exfoliate and use a sugar scrub but it doesn't help. Anyone know of any treatments or products to help?!

Dr. Dan's Cortibalm is a "chapstick" that contains cortisone so it truly heals severely chapped lips. I've used it for years, starting from when I was on Accutane which dried my lips out terribly. It's available on Amazon for around $5 per tube and trust me you won't regret it. I swear by it! Good luck!

Use an old toothbrush to lightly exfoliate. I used to suffer too and I would just put Vaseline on them all the time now I don't have any problems.

Drink lots of water and apply vaseline to your lips every night before you go to bed. Always works 4 me :-)

Dr. Lipp's Original Nipple Balm for Lips is pretty good! Weird name, yes, but it helped my lips out!!

It's really thick though, so I usually put it on right before bed.

Hi there,
Try going to sleep with some vaseline or chapstick on your lips, put it on semi heavily and just go to sleep, this will keep your lips hydrated throughout the night which may help them during the day. No point spending money on expensive products if you can do something simple like this that will help.
Hope this helps.

Coconut oil works wonders on dry skin in general. The only downside is it soaks right into the skin, so it doesn't stick around for long. Try putting on a tiny bit of coconut oil and then some normal lip balm on top to help keep the moisture there for a while.
