A lot if kohl liners are for smudging cause of its soft consistency.. you should try a soft waterproof eyeliner that way it'll glide on easily but stay put all day and no smudging :)

Cassandra is correct, if your plan is to use as a liner be prepared for it to smudge its made to give a Smokey effect its different from a regular liner pencil like was mention the consistency is softer for smudge look.
