2. Curl your hair by putting the iron close to your head and simply wrapping hair around the barrel
3.after your hair cools down, comb it out to get a more loose look

You can try the headband technique :) In case you don't know how to do it: Put a tight headband on hippie style and wrap your hair around the headband all the way around. Do this with DAMP hair, NOT dry OR wet. Then go to bed and sleep (or keep it in for a few hours) then in the morning gently pull the hair out and it should be very curly! :) You can wet a brush and brush through it if the curls are too bouncy and big for your taste :) Either that or a 1/2 inch curling wand should do the trick :) I hope this helps!!

When your curling it with the iron don't hold it for as long, andy brush it out a but it run your fingers through the curls heaps :)

Don't curl it all the way. Go about mid shaft or up to your ears. Or you can go heartless and twist your hair in little sections over night

You can also try braiding your dry hair and then going over it a few times with a straightener! That works for me on a hasty Monday morning(:
