There are lots of oils that can help with hair growth and egg is also very good but eating and drinking healthy is the #1 thing to help with hair growth and help the products work faster

You can certain things to help it quality wise ( stronger softer etc) and your end results will be less breakage which will cause it to appear or look like your hair has grown. In reality it has not as you aren't disturbing it.
First things first... No heat.
Secondly... Do hair treatments. I do a coconut oil/castor oil/ olive oil treatment every 3-5 days and sometimes heat up plain olive oil for softness. This will also help reduce frizz.
Thirdly eat healthy. Anything good for hair will work. Exercise drink lots of water take vitamins etc. I also braid or twist my hair before bed. I've been doing this and these are my results in just TWO weeks.

And do lots of research for hair treatments but always keep in mind you can't make your hair thicker or grow faster. That's genetics. But by taking very good care if your hair you are not disturbing it's growth, what you are seeing is your hair naturally grow on its own and be healthy.

Eat plenty almonds, fish (salmon especially) and dark green vegetables like spinach. Make sure your iron levels are good too. Give your scalp a massage every day for 10 minutes and flip your head upside down for about 2 minutes to get the blood circulating around the follicles. Healthy, nourishing hair masks, are a must, I use one called pro naturals Moroccan argan oil hair mask, it’s very moisturizing and it makes your hair really healthy. Also, get regular trims to prevent split ends and encourage healthy growth.
