Hey I have brown hair and want to dye it black! Would it help to dye it very dark brown first ad then go black?

No don't go with two colors it will damage it more go directly to the black one

It would be okay to go dark brown first and wait a while before dying it black. Dying it twice in a consecutive day would damage your hair.
