Okay so I used a acne spot treatment last night and I think it burnt my skin over night! I have like red not hives but something along those lines on the apples of my cheeks. What can I do to calm it down? I washed my face with an aloe cleanser for redness gently. what else can I do.?

If your skin isn't used to acne treatments, that will happen. I used this stuff called zap zit a long long time ago and put it on my face and it did that. I would recommend to put some coconut oil on it a few times a day and it will be gone in a couple days. Ohh and your skin will feel like silk after it's better.

I used retinol and had the same issue around my eyes and my cleanser and moisturizer was making it worse so I got some organic coconut oil and it started getting better. I've been using it about 4 days and its so much better than it was when I started. Hope this helps.

I suggest washing your face with oatmeal to reduce redness and inflammation.

You possibly could be having an allergic reaction. I'd take a little Benadryl (read the directions thoroughly) and apply some hydrocortisone. I would also consult your doc just to be on the safe side.
