Use neutral colors like browns and golds, or just forgo that and just put a bit of blush, tinted lip balm and cat eyeliner and you're good to go!

I apply bronzer every time I do my makeup just to add some warmth/color to my face. The intensity of your contouring can make your makeup look more dramatic making it look more "fancy".. Soft colors or like al w. said above, neutrals can make your makeup look more everyday and less dramatic or formal. Even if you just wanted to do your face makeup, mascara or some simple eyeliner can make for a great daytime look!

The shade sidecar in the first Naked palette is a great eyeshadow for everyday use! It's very build able and you can use it softly on your lid and darker in the crease for a great look!
