Okay so I'm totally sunburnt and I was in the mountains and forgot sunscreen for four days, and my skin is rough and kinda flaky... So what should I do? I tried moisturizing and I tried exfoliating... So anything else or just wait for my skin to heal itself?

I heard aloe vera works.. But I guess just wait for your skin to heal itself.

Moisturizing and, especially, exfoliating are not going to help. Take some regular Lipton tea bags, run them under warm water for about 45 seconds to a minute and pat them on your sunburn. Apply after-sun cream or aloe vera gel. It should heal quickly if you do this! Don't pick at it even if it's itchy!!

My dad has this trick with vinegar, try looking it up on the web.

This happened to me right before school started this year, I was kayaking for 6 hours and didn't have sunscreen, then went hiking. Ouch! I was dark red! Just exfoliate A BUNCH (I did it at least three times a day) and use aloe vera and lotion. Mine as gone in a day or two.
