I have very long hair to my waist, which I have recently dipdyed a light blonde. My natural colour is dark brown/black. I'm really happy with the look of it, but the condition is awful. So last night I put olive oil in it, from midlengths to end, AVOIDING THE ROOTS, and wrapped it in an old towel. I then washed it out this morning. The difference is INCREDIBLE. My hair was smooth and sleek, even after blow drying, and feels silky (but not greasy) to touch! I can't recommend it enough! Just be sure to rinse it out really well :)

I did not apply oil on the scalp or roots. Just from the middle down to the ends. It was easy, you just have to rinse it very well and shampoo twice. Don't use conditioner after shampooing!

Thanks for sharing! I can't use olive oil a lot I'm afraid, it's too heavy for my hair, argan oil works better for me. I use the pro naturals brand.
