I use dr. Bonners castle soap put a bit in the palm of my hand and swirl the wet brush around in it and then rinse with water until it runs clear. Then lay on clean towel to dry. You can use baby shampoo as well.

There are lots of inexpensive methods but I personally love & highly recommend the cleanser from Encore. It looks like bar soap with a loofah underneath. It's done incredible things for my brushes!

Whatever you do. Use conditioner after you wash them. I use their brushes and using conditioner keeps them soft like new!

I use Johnson Johnson all natural baby body wash hehe I also even use it as my skin care routine sometimes and to wash my brushes.

Shampoo or dish soap, keep the brushes pointed downward against running water; if you choose to soak them in water, overtime the water will loosen the adhesive holding the hairs on the brush. Allow them to air dry like Lily C. pictured above. (:

I actually use this laundry soap that can be use on baby skin if necessary and it does wonders for my brushes. Keeps it soft and clean.
