First off, Maybelline is one of the most popular high street makeup brands, offering cosmetic products at quite reasonable prices. You'll probably find that you can purchase this mascara in just about any reputable beauty store, including Boots and Superdrug for around £8 (or click here to read my article on where to buy this product, and many more, online for a lot cheaper).
I've always been a fan of Maybelline's mascaras. I find that the majority generally have large, bristly brushes which have always worked wonders for thickening and elongating my thin, short lashes...
