What's the best high-end primer? I've only tried the tarte one so any recommendations? None that will break me out.

For face it depends what you're looking for!
For pores Benefits Professional all the way
For color correcting Victorias Secret has great ones I love their green one

That's kinda a tough request to fulfill because what doesn't break me out might break you out. :( I have oily/combo skin and from my past experience the Lorac oil free primer irritated my skin along with Too Faced and Tarte. NARS has an oil free version that I used for the longest but once my skin changed for the better I stopped using it entirely. Clinique recently came out with a primer that has color correcting in it as well. So if you have areas that tend to get red there is a primer available to address that. There are several to choose from in that new range so its worth checking out.
