Can anyone tell me how necessary it is to use a setting/loose powder? I am not currently using one but I always hear it in tutorials. Will it make the difference in flawless skin? Also I have normal to dry skin and my make up last a good while anyway. Second question is about toners? What is really the point of them? Thanks so much ladies!!

Totally not necessary! My skin is on the dry side and most days I don't use a setting powder, just because I don't need it! I do use a setting spray though. But my skin isn't oily so my makeup really doesn't slide off my face lol. And a toner balances out the ph of your skin? If I'm not mistaken lol, it also helps clean out your pores and take away gross makeup residue.

I do, but because my face gets really oily and if I touch my face you can see the smudge.

Toners are used to get back the PH of your skin and help remove any bacteria and/or dirt your face wash didnt get. it also closes your pores.

If you don't have oily skin like myself you really don't need it... I would use a spray like Grace uses it will hydrate your skin better... And J-envy said it best... It also helps control my oil... I have been using witch hazel as a toner for YEARS... It works wonders for me... I have had minimal breakouts so I hoped I've helped 😊

If you are washing your face well and have no breakout problems then I wouldn't use either one and go for more of a dewy complexion since you are dry. If you have breakouts use a light alcohol free toner or wash your face once to remove makeup and once to clean skin with a no drying cleanser.

Great! Thanks so much ladies! I do use a setting spray with witch hazel and currently began the witch hazel toner so I feel like I'm on the right track! Thanks again!
