I just bought the matchmaster yesterday and am just wondering should I have bought the studio fix?? I have dry skin but the matchmaster was recommended to me from a friend who has oily skin. I am 7.5 or NC45. Should I exchange for studio fix? Have any of you tried both? What are your thoughts?

Matchmaster is a great foundation, its not recommended for people with dry skin.
If you decided to keep it, make sure you take extra time to hydrate and prep your skin before applying that way it goes on smooth.

It depends on your skin, are you looking for full coverage thats long lasting? then get Studio Fix. If you only need minimal to medium coverage, stick with Matchmaster :-)

Yes Mary, I noticed that my Revlon Colorstay foundation has more full coverage than the Matchmaster but I love the fact that MACs product matches my darker tone as opposed to the Revlon selection. I've already started using the product so I am sure I can't return it now. When a MAC stylist did my makeover one time she used the Studio Fix and now I can see the difference. Next go round I may try that one or maybe even that new Naked foundation, that one looks pretty good too.
Olivia, I always make sure to moisturize whether I am wearing makeup or not. I don't like the feeling of dry skin at all =)

I use the match master in 7.0 I thought I really loved it .. But broke out like mad so stop it ! Now I use the prolong wear foundation as I do a lot of sports n I don't like going without anything on my face . The prolong wear is amazing better then the colours stay revlon.. Cos obviously of the colour match ...

You should be able to return the product as long as you have your receipt, even though its opened, Mac has a 30 days return policy. I have always been able to return a product I already used. The UD Naked Skin is light/natural, can be used as an everyday foundation & I love it! :-)

Don't tell me that Mary, I'll be up in there tomorrow! I think the Matchmaster is beginning to break me out too. Does it matter that I threw the box away? That Naked foundation is really tempting

Are you serious they have this policy mac?? Waw I always thought that once you open and use it this is it? Is it only for liquid foundation or all their products?? What's naked foundation ? What make? Has anyone tryed the illamasqua skin foundation??? How is it? Help pls in need for a good water based foundation for combination skin natural but yet that covers imperfections! Is illamasqua skin foundation does that???

I was able to exchange for the studio fix. I also bought the maybelline bb cream for daily use. I wouldn't wear foundation everyday. I don't have the energy for full face all the time =)
Sadie it was open with no box all they needed was my receipt. It works for all products. Naked is from urban decay but I keep hearing mixed reviews on it
