I agree with Cayla ulta or the body shop (if you have one near you) bc they will have products that are good for your skin since they are "beauty" places. I'm NOT putting down drugstores bc those work too. But I know ulta and the body shop will have more skin types and more quality.

I use the body shop's tea tree oil mask. It's great for acne prone skin but isn't over drying. There are lots of great masks you can make at home too. Mix a little honey, lemon, and cinnamon into a paste and leave on for about 10 min. Lemon brightens skin and fades scars while the honey cleans skin (great antibacterial). Cinnamon helps brig blood and oxygen to the skins surface which can help problem acne.

Go to paulaschoice.com for skincare questions, she reviews almost every brand out there and you can search what's good for your skin type as well! Really good informative website. She says which products are the best! I love this site.

I use Aztec clay mask mixed with apple cider vinegar once every other month. Been doing so for almost a year. Just have to follow up with a nutrient rich moisturizer. I'm 39 years old and if you look at my skin there isn't an ounce of premature aging and I use to use stuff far worse than that on my skin when I was much younger and didn't know any better.

I have heard apple cider vinegar is good for the skin??

@Lisa W. if using as a toner you must dilute it with water. And I would try a patch test with it before doing so.

Haven't tried it yet but that's exactly what I heard to do what would we all do without you miss Shelley :)

You should never mix your products with water, it can contaminate a clean product. Clay masques are good for oily skin and also have other benefits

@Natasha...in the case of straight apple cider vinegar its perfectly fine to dilute it as long as its in a separate container. I think you misunderstood my earlier reply. @Lisa W. I'll be on this site till the day I kick the bucket...so I'll be here for awhile. :)

There are many brands out there that are great, the key is finding one that's effective for your skin type. masks with ingredients like honey, ginger, tea tree and other antiseptic ingredients are going to help kill acne causing bacteria. the clays in masks have oil absorbing benefits, charcoal and rhassoul mud also detoxify. ingredients like citrus and other hydroxy acids will help brighten and even skin tone.

Thank you girls!! I tried natural honey and it's good. I also tried lemon but it hurts. Why is that? :( I'm thinking to buy that glam glow. Where can I buy? :)
