MAC is my #1 because it's the only place where the person behind the counter knows are much or more about makes than I do. I rarely need makeup advice, but when I do it's frustrating not being able to get it. Also, any time I think "oh, I'd like a liner/shadow/lipstick in ___ color", MAC always comes through for me.
After that, sephora. I go there when I want make up but have no real agenda, or need to compare several different product lines at one time. I love having everything in one place.
Then Ulta. There isn't one near me (thank goodness or I'd be broke) but I love it!!! Drugstore and high end make up PLUS salon hair care? I'm a TIGI and Big Sexy junkie!

I love Bluemercury to shop for make-up and skincare. They don't have a ton of stores like ULTA and Sephora but I love them for the great customer service and product knowledge is superior. The staff genuinely seem happy to be working there (who wants to go into a store where the employees look like they don't want to be there).

I prefer my Sephora. The ladies in there know me by name (and email, I never remember my card. :#) and are so helpful. They know that I know what I'm doing despite looking so young. Most of my haircare needs are supported by Chatters.
