You need better lighting, take photos outside during the day time & maybe your camera is out of focus? you might need to adjust your focus & angle or buy a better camera.

Lighting is just as important as equipment, sunlight on a sorta cloudy day is good. But anyway all of the gorgeous makeup images are tweeked with photoshop, even the most minor adjustments.
