It depends on what you want, if you want to make your highlights more noticeable then go for blonde (like the one on my pic), but if you prefer that your highlights are less noticeable then go for any of the colors that the other people said :)

I would stay away with anything to contrasting if you hair is one color solid color right now. Go into the salon asking for caramels and light browns. Then if you want to be a bit more blonde in the future, it will looks less stark and unnatural. Celebs always have more 3 colors in their hair to give a warm richness, and overall natural highlighted tone. You can achieve that too, you may just have to do it in steps, because highlights can get expensive! Stylists can only safely lift 2-4 shades with minimum damage.
