I have both in my collection but I prefer NARS for the fact that they are more high quality than MAC who has been slipping in that department in the past few years since pumping out a new collection every month. NARS pigmentation when it comes to blushes is just crazy sick. I only have to pat my brush on Exhibit B, for example, and get an insane glow without looking like a clown. I have yet to reach pan on any of my NARS blushes because a little goes a long way. With MAC I depend on for decent lip shades and I love their brushes.

I love both & own a few of both Mac & Nars. I like Nars better b/c the color last longer, its opaque & the quality is top notch! even the Nars packaging is awesome. As for Mac, I like them bc I enjoy all the new collections that launch often, its more affordable & unique when it comes to packaging.

I love both :) I love Nars for the color, unique pieces, lipstick, & quality. I also love MAC because they have great eyeshadow, cheap for the quality, great lipsticks, love their foundation, & great deals on shipping. I feel like Nars last longer & is more of higher quality. MAC I feel is kinda going down.

I love mac all the way! Am a massive mac fan since I was 20 just incredible shades for my. Nc44.5 shade, n am a true nc45 at summer! I love their creme sheen lipsticks n lip glasses ! Just superb I have tryed Nars their matte foundation but perhaps I prefer their blushes like orgasm I been using it for yearssssss can't get enough of it:) gives beautiful glow where I need it as I do love the matte look I have combination skin

Nars is sophisticate, classy, and very high quality, it just suites me IMO. Mac is fun though, I love to look at their seasonal collections. It's for a more trendy person wanting to have the latest it items. I am a lipstick lover, so for this I love Mac- so many lipsticks and fun limited colors

I have exactly 1 Nars eyeshadow and I love it to death! China Blue is finally mine!!! - okay back to earth. lol... I have a crap load of MAC makeup and I prefer MAC for a number of reasons: VARIETY. There's just sooo much to choose from whether its their foundation, blushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lipglasses... they have a lot to offer. Aside from color selection they have different textures and formulas. They just a comprehensive brand.

NARS...not even a question...for all the reasons above. The colors are simply awesome. Payoff, is true. All the "duo chrome" eye shadows are top notch. Cream shadows awesome. Blush, powder, lipsticks, velvet mattes, skincare (apparently changing)...NARS kills MAC, I'm sad to say it. I was a MAC addict from way back...quality just isn't there anymore. NARS is worth the buck. China Blue as mentioned above is a great place to start!!!

Mac has the cool factor but Nars is far superior in my opinion. The quality of their products is simply unmatched by many other brands. I especially love their velvet lip pencils-the stay power and color pigmentation of which is amazing! Plus there's something just extra sexy about their packaging.
