I currently use Renee Rouleau Skincare but was given a full-treatment program for my skin-type featuring Sunday Riley products. I've tried some pricey skincare items in the past but this line takes the cake. What are some high-end lines that you tried and if so did they live up to the hype or a regret in the dump pile?

The most recent was philosophy miracle worker. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't $65 a jar special. Used my jar up, went right back to Hope.

Somme Institute is a high end brand. I've been using it and it changed my skin for the better!

French Skincare is the best. If you type French Pharmacy/French Skincare in to YouTube there are a lot of recommendations. Have a look at Lisa Eldridge on YT. She has skincare down ha.

I recently tried some Guerlain eye cream and skin cream. It is the best I have ever used. Both were deluxe samples. Sad thing is that I cannot afford the face cream, but I will probably save up for the eye cream. Other than that, other high end skincare has not been that great for me.

Before moving to Florida I was big into Yon-Ka skincare out of Europe. But its such a pain to get here in FL that I ventured away from it. They have a great acne skincare program. The French lines are great but limited distribution in the states make it hard for consumers here to purchase.

What's high-end? Facial care products are much more expensive here than in the US. I use a mish-mash of products that work and, according to my skin's needs at different times, so it's not one particular brand. And I do use a LOT of stuff. Hah. Oops. Lemme see... I use Bioderma, Mario Badescu, Biotherm, SKII, Ole Henriksen, SkinCeuticals, Boscia, Cellnique, and Gowoonsesang. Are they considered high-end? I dunno. I've tried Chanel and Clarins. Loved them but my skin changed when I moved back home.

@Lex R. High-end can be something with a fairly limited distribution but with a super high price tag for a small amount of product. I have the Sunday Riley entire skincare line for my skintype in rotation ( I've only been using one item and that is the cleasner) and her sunscreen for example has a price tag of $125. You can't find her product line everywhere and its just crazy sick expensive. SKII, SkinCeuticals and CEllnique is up there with in regards to high-end. Along with Chanel and Clarins. And Boscia. Bioderma and Biotherm I'm not too familiar with. Mario Badescu is mid-high end. My husband considers anything not sold in a drugstore high-end.

If u want to spend on skincare than I would recommend u such brand who specialises on skincare. Brands like Dior and Chanel are good for makeup. For Skincare try Skinceuticals, Murad, Yon-ka, L'ocitane, Kanebo, SK-ii, Kate Somerville. Etc

I'm trying out some SK-II products now...not sure if they are living up to the hype. I have a few Sunday Riley products and love them, especially the Ceramic Slip Cleanser.

I like Clinique's acne solution kit, its the only thing that has worked for me so far without iritating my skin. Claudalie is nice too, but was too gentile to get rid of breakout with this summer weather. Also, i have not tried them yet, but I have only heard great things about Dermalogica

La prairie, La Mer, Siscily, and Guerlain
are a few that I have tried. La Mer moisturizers are like heaven they absorb into to the skin effortlessly La Prairie has great serums Siscily has amazing eye creams and, Guerlain has amazing cleansers.
Good thing I tried them all Gratis because the price points on these babies are well beyond my means [for now] ;D

I won a contest which I could get a FULL SIZE Perricone product up to $150. So of course I chose a product that was $150 -- Perricone Cold Plasma Treament Cream. It's suppose to fight 10 signs of aging, yadda yadda. I couldn't finish the whole jar. The cream has a "fishy" smell to it. (A lot of reviewers have also said the same thing). Throughout the day I would catch a whiff of it, and I didn't see any improvements and what not. =\

I've used to purchase Dr. Dennis Gross' Alpha Daily Face Peels monthly, but saw no difference in my skin neither.

For "high end" products, I prefer ones made custom by reputable spas. Because they aren't mass produced in any form, they usually have a much better quality base and they fit your skin better. (: good lick

@Marcella e. I tried La Met too and the cream made me break out as well. I just wanted something to keep my combo skin from cracking when we had freezing temps last year. I do have a deluxe sample of the serum collecting dust in my vanity drawer. I might need to check it out now that you mentioned it. :)

I switched over to Dior skincare at the beginning of October and my skin has NEVER been better. I've always suffered from oily, acne prone skin and have tried everything under the sun but am now finally seeing a difference. I use the Purifying Cleansing Milk, Gentle Toner, Diorsnow White Reveal Gentle Purifying Cleanser (2 times a week), Hydra Life Sorbet Cream. These products are quite expensive but it's a price I'm willing to pay for good skin. I also use Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash a couple times a week!

For high end skin care, I agree with Katelynn D; using product formulated by a reputable spa really does make a big difference. They're much more specific and can target your specific skin type. I personally use Enza Essentials. Even online, they were able to target what products would be best for my skin type and I have never been happier with my skin! Check it out- enza.com
