Exfoliate your face gently with a scrub to get rid of the flaking skin. It'll be kind of red after exfoliating bc the skin is more raw after taking off the dry dead skin. Moisturize generously with aloe vera gel, or Weleda Skin Food cream ($8 in drugstores). Try a yogurt and avocado or honey and egg white face mask to encourage smoother skin to grow. Vitamin E in your moisturizer will help a lot too. Hope this helped :)

Try exfoliating first (use a mixture of brown sugar and honey) and then moisturize with olive oil. Hope that helps :)
