Your skin is oily because you don't hydrate it well if its dry then it will overproduce oil which means you need a gentle face wash for acne prone skin so try more natural products that won't strip your skin of its natural oil try stuff like witch hazel and maracuja oil also stay away from products with alcohol they will be too drying for your skin try an aloe cleanser that is alcohol free or try the yes to tomatoes line its natural n great for dry skin.

I have the same problem. I used to think I had dry skin, but my dermatologist said it was actually oily. When the oil gets hot, it turns into dry looking patches that really aren't dry at all. Get an oil free moisturizer, I like neutrogena, and a gentle face wash specifically for oily/acne prone skin.
