Try a lip scrub before you go to bed and again in the morning, should help them heal up, an then you can wear lipstick again!:)

Use a lip scrub and lip balm a few minutes before you put on your lipstick, it'll go on smoothly then.

Exfoliat of course! Petrolium jelly is good but its not good for you especially round the mouth area, you don't want to consume it.

Use a lib scrub then vaseline until it gets better, then switch to a lip balm.
The tarte lip scrub will be good for you because after you scrub and wash it off it leaves them really nice and moisturized

Use a hydrating lip conditioner. Most people use vaseline, or aquaphor, but actually the main ingredient (petroleum jelly) is actually not going to hydrate your skin. Its a skin protectant so it will seal moisture in but will not hydrate by itself. What I use is eucerin cream. Its extremely hydrating and I only have to apply it at night and during the day I use jack black lip balm. Eucerin you can find at any drugstore and jack black is from sephora and nordstroms.
