Disappointment and a question.

So I went to sephora last weekend and a set of eye brushes was on my list of things to purchase. Personally I would rather buy a set that includes what I need instead of buying each brush separately. I ended up getting sephoras smoke machine smokey eye brush set. I have to say after paying $40 for this set, I'm kind of disappointed. The second to largest brush is extremely scratchy on my eye (I wasn't expecting that since I paid $40) and it didn't include a nice fluffy blending brush. I believe the brushes are synthetic, and I've now realized I prefer a natural bristle brush. I'm thinking of returning it BUT I am absolutely in love with the sephora full action mascara that came with the kit. If I do return it I will purchase the mascara separately. My question is- can anyone recommend a good set of NATURAL eye brushes? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks :) do you know if they are natural and if I can get them at sephora? I've definitely decided these pieces of crap are going back this weekend.

They are natural, you should be able to, and they have awesome Christmas gift sets around this time of year!

40$ brush set will sure be crappy. I got one of sephora brush set for 58$ CAD and they're awesome! Synthetic brush sometimes is even better than natural hair IMO. It depends on how good you are at detecting brush ;$

I actually just picked up a real techniques eye brush set... Haven't opened it, I hope this set works better for me.

Hope so, I hate spending tons of money on brushes that don't perform.  :(

The real technique eye set is shamazing! I love the fluffy blending brush in it, its usually one of the first brushes I reach for even over my mac and sigma brushes that are similar to it. one of the best and most used brushes I own. have fun ;)
