Well a diet in Bio is how much of what nutrients you eat, so opposed to what most people think of as eating less, I personally consider dieting eating healthier. If you eat healthier you can eat good quantities of delicious foods without starving yourself. There are tonnes of healthy recipes online for you to look at.

Also, a quick way to get rid of snack in your diet is to pick up a bowl of fruits or veggies instead to snack on.

Hope this helped!

It all depends on how much weight you're trying to lose. The most effective diet I've tried was the Juice diet. & I lost 15lbs in a week. But everything doesn't work for anyone but if you want more info on the juice diet let me know.

Working out 30 to 60 minutes a day will assist in your weight loss goals coupled with a well-balanced diet. I'm on the different end of the spectrum and even I have a hard time getting motivated to go to the gym sometimes. Especially if I didn't reach a work-out goal the day before or I slipped up in my diet and ate something I had no business eating. There is a figure competitor that I absolutely adore and admire to no end. So to motivate me I actually have several laminated promo pics of her that are about the size of a business card and I literally have them placed thru out my house and in my car. So whenever my motivation is lagging I take a look at that pic and realize what my goal is and it usually gets me off my butt and where I need to be. My goal is to obtain my PRO card so I can hopfully obtain sponsorship and enter the big dollar contests. Just find what motivates you to want to lose weight. First and foremost it should be about being healthy overall but is there a particular event you want to attend looking fit and trim? Is it an outfit you wish to wear? Find that goal and you will obtain that motivation. :)

I agree with these ladies, but it really depends on your personal goals. I think a lot of losing weight happens with a healthy life change and making a part of your everyday life. Kit's articles here have helped me so much and I really think they're a real motivation booster. http://www.beautylish.com/articles/health-wellness

Counting calories is a very effective way. You can eat everything just not in large amounts, so your body doesnt get insane cravings for something that is totally lacking. Of course the calorie intake for a person on a diet is not as high. Exercise is key. Only dieting will not work, one should exercise a few times a week at least with interval training between cardio and strength. Staying hydrated is very important as well. Avoiding to eat out too much, because you cannot really count calories well. Cooking at home is very helpful, you can weigh all the products and thus determine the amount of calories.
Helpful tools are apps such as myfitnesspal and caloriecount, which help you keep track of weight, calorie intake, activities etc.
