I scalded my chin a few years back and after recovery the scalded area looks two shades darker than my original skin tone. I've been trying a lot of products but none can correct the difference in skin tone. Recently I tried Fancl but it only managed one shade lighter. Will appreciate product recommendations and expert advice, many thanks in advance!

There's an enzyme(which I can't remember the name of) in certain fruits that lighten the skin. obvious ones are lemon and orange but also papaya and strawberries. if you want to try a diy version you can make a mask with papaya and plain organic yogurt mixed with a few drops of fresh lemon juice or switch papaya with strawberries or orange segments. also using a papaya soap and lotion will help speed up the process. here's a link that kind of explains what.to do and what happens. hope this helps! http://catalystsalonandspa.blogspot.com/2013/05/fruits-that-lighten-skin-tone-papaya.html?m=1.

I suggest a lactic acid peel. It's one of mildest peels you get and in just 2 weeks time, (doing one peel a week) I noticed a noticeable improvement in my post acne scarring, tone, and health of my skin.
