You can use olive, almond or coconut oil... I don't know a substitute for shea butter

You can also use chapsticks instead of Shea butter. That's what I do because I'm allergic to shea butter Just melt it the same way.
And Sabrina crayons are made with the idea in mind that children will eat them at some point, there is no bad things in them. :)
