How are you applying it?

Directly with a foundation brush

Well I don't think it looks bad, but I understand wanting a flawless face if that's what it advertises. Try concealing the area of concern first. I would also experiment with different brushes. Try something that buffs the foundation into the skin like a flat top kabuki.

Are you applying a primer before your foundation? I would also suggest to try out the BeautyBlender. It really does give a flawless application in my opinion. I use it every time I use a liquid foundation.

I love the beauty blender for liquid foundation as well.

Try doing an all over application of the foundation and then go back in with very thin layers of the foundation to conceal. It will look flawless and natural
