So I want to be a makeup artist when I get older. Both like special affects and normal :) this is the first scary special affects makeup I did. Any critiques or tips?
Ik its not very good and its pretty fake looking. But I don't have any fake blood ir anything. THANJ YOU!

It looks fine! Try shading more for na more realistic effect, and give your mouth some lips.

It's not bad but maybe next time try with some white face paint all over her face! So she'll really be dead LOL but it really depends on what the idea you were going for, but either way good job :)

Try getting a matte powder to put over the face paint so it stays on longer and gives it a more "real" look.

This is more of a cartoony dead look but it's cute kinda Tim burtonish but if you were going for a realistic look I would say don't be so harsh with the black on the eyes purples and reds would achieve the look! :)

I agree with what Selina said but also some career advice, being a spfx makeup artist is a whole world of its own, if thats what you want to do then you have to pursue that type of makeup and search for those type of jobs, horror movies, hospital sitcoms ect start out at by doing friends makeup at halloween and take plenty of pictures.

What do you mean by normal makeup artist? Do you mean bridal, fashion,editorial?

Look up Emma Pickles on youtube. She dose a lot of special effects and regular makeup. Be prepared for her zombie look. It's actually quite creepy.
