I like the earrings. But I think the accessories you are currently deciding on will make you look less casual.
I agree with Cee on the vest and chucks. & You could always bring a pair of flats to switch into for the cocktails if needed (depending on the venue) and take off the vest. I personally would go with a black leather jacket (if the weather will allow it of course) and a shoe (any kind/style really) that stands out. Some kind of print.. A bold color.. Etc. Black is very chic and classy so adding a shoe (not heels) that pop can tone it down and make it more casual.
