I own Black Cherry from Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick line and I really like it- but I'm looking for a darker, moodier shade- maybe black/purple or dark red- for a back to school look I'm thinking of. Preferably suggestions I could get from the drugstore?

I agree with Dianne O., that lipstick is so pigmented! The Kate Moss collection is so on point. All of the colors are amazing and I think 04 would be perfect for what you have in mind.

NYC has some pretty dark, vampy colors too. They're usually in the $3-4 range
