I wash my hair twice since I'm in the swim team and I do a lot of sports. I have 4b/c hair and I love applying shea butter, coconut oil and moroccan oil. I acctually ALWAYS have one of them in my hair. Bt still my hair feels dry on the ends. I don't straighten my hair, and acctually never blowdry them. I've also never relaxed them. What are your hair routines? Do you recommend any products? Xx

I can tell you right now that beautylish isn't the place for natural hair questions. The best thing is to what YouTube natural hair beauty gurus and go on longhaircareforum and blackhairmedia. Those outlets will give you everything you need to know. Good gurus include glamtwinz334 http://youtu.be/AZeMUwW6KPM.

Also I would recommend to deep condition your hair.

Have you considered wearing your hair braided? I'm assuming your swimming in chlorinated water and that will always dry out your hair. still the braids are more of a protective hairstyle that you can still wash n go while giving less stress hair. if your not liking that idea I would say purchase a really good swimcap and try almond oil in your hair. I have a really good one home and I forgot the brand but its a hair oil. its keeps my hair really soft and healthy looking and will great on your ends.

I used Organix macadamia oil it's a hydrating conditioner. I don't have an Afro, but I do have coarse hair and this is a VERY good conditioner. It's a bit pricey; however it is truly worth it. I cowash (washing with just conditioner) my hair twice a week and my hair is doing great. Give it a try or you can try the awapuhi ginger conditioner. Great products!

Curly Nikki forums are the place for a question like this as it's a natural hair forum.

But you may just need a trim if it's only your ends that feel bad, or at least that's what it ends up being for me. But Giovanni direct leave in or pure Shea butter (I get mine off of coastal scents) may help.

Deep condition your hair with 1/2 a teaspoon of extra virgin oil and enough conditioner to cover your hair then wrap it up with cling wrap and put the hair dryer on it for 5 mind then let it cool down wash out really really well and if that dosnt work then you need a hair cut
