Aqua stained nails?!:(

So I painted my nails a deep aqua colour, I've removed the colour with nail polish remover and it's stained my nails really badly, is there anything else I can do too remove it,

I've heard that toothpaste helps but I never tried it I just grow them out.

I've heard scrubbing with a whitening toothpaste helps get rid of the color left after using nail polish remover. You could always try that
