Make a natural scrub! mix sugar honey and olive oil
the sugar will exfoliate and the olive oil will leave your face so smooth! I have dry skin too and use this about once a week!(: it works great

Olive oil works wonders when used conservatively.

Exfoliation is key for me. At least 2-3 times a week I use either a physical exfolianting wash or my Mario Badescu glycolic acid wash. I follow this with a light layer of Tarte Maracuja oil (3-4 drops for the entire face) patted all over my face. I let that sink in for a minute or so, then I apply CeraVe moisturizer. For daily cleansing I use my Clarisonic and Cetaphil cleanser. I follow this with Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA gel, then my Maracuja oil and moisturizer routine.
This seems to help me tremendously in the fight against flaky, patchy, uncomfortably tight dry skin. Exfoliation, both gentle physical and chemical (glycolic acids), will help your skin cell turnover.

And ditto for applying your oil and moisturizer while your skin is still wet. Seal in that moisture, girl!
