As long as you take care of your skin, like moisturize it and such, and make sure ALL of your makeup is off before bed.

It really depends on what is in the makeup, and how well you take care of your skin. Do some research on what ingredients are harmful for your skin. Then read the ingredients in a product before you buy it. :) Some products may also irritate your skin, depending on your skin type. If you have dry skin, some products may dry you skin out. If you have sensitive skin, you should definitely try to use makeup with natural ingredients. Also, always make sure to remove your makeup before you go to bed. Also use good skin care products to suit your skin type.

OH. And remember to clean your makeup brushes at least once a week. I make my own cleaner. :) And I'm going to be reposting the tutorial I did on my beauty blog soon on how to make it.
