I didn't know salt but tooth paste I have heard good about oh n try elmers glue let it dry then peel it off.

Tooth paste will burn your skin if you leave for too long on.

Yes and no... In the past tooth paste had different ingredients so it would help, but today tooth paste no long contain the same ingredients. So when you use tooth paste all your doing is burning your skin.

You could maybe find a tooth paste with those ingredients, but y wouldn't you just go get something that's made to get rid of them. I haven't tried yet but I've heard lemon and sugar help get rid of blackheads.
