I think I'm the only person in the world who gets small breakouts from milk of magnesia (didn't stop me from going through two bottles of it though lol). I got tired of sacrificing clear skin for some mattifying though and stopped. It didn't even seem to last very long for me the way other people swear by it and I saw such an increase in blackheads around my jawline and on my nose :( everyone always says how gentle it is on acne prone skin but for w/e reason my skin doesn't like it /.\ any other suggestions for super oily skin? My Rimmel mattifying powder is doing wonders but I still need to blot A LOT throughout the day especially in this summer heat.
Thanks!!(:

First when you wake up, cleanse your skin with a facial cleanser. Hop in the shower and apply moisturizer right after. At night, cleanse your face again and apply moisturizer again. Exfoliate with a gentle face scrub 2-3 times a week. I reccomend Acure Brightening Facial Scrub, but you can also make your own!

@Elisa; I'd love to see what you're using!

Do a mask once or twice a week as well, and because you have oily skin, clay masks should be good for you!

I use cetaphil! It's super gentle, and makes your skin very soft :)

Exfoliating does seem to help a little, I use an apricot scrub a few times a week and cleanse twice a day and moisturize as well :)
Thanks.

Benefit's porefessional is a lifesaver! It gives 2-3 more hours before blotting time, which is amazing for me because I usually have to blot every 3 hours, now I can go 5-6 hours without touching up. :)

Definitely make sure you are cleansing, using a toner, and then moisturize. I would recommend Simple Skincare's products. Also as a primer you can try Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. The only problem is that it's really expensive.

Em I'd right on point. Your skin will kick up in oil production if both foundation and primer aren't waterbased.

Thank you for all the suggestions guys!!<3
This is going to sound silly but how do I tell if my foundation and moisturizer are water based? /.\ I'm pretty sure revlon colorstay for combination skin is silicon based but some things online say its water based. And I use neutrogena dry touch sunscreen as a basic moisturizer. If I used a primer I guess I'm now looking for a reasonably priced water based one? I'm a broke college student *bursts into tears* lmao
Thanks again(:
