So I am about to relax my hair but I want to try using the Pantene relaxed shampoo and conditioner I bought. should I just use the stuff in the box?

Use the stuff in the box, or at least the shampoo the conditioner doesn't matter to much.
And as a word of advise when you feel your head staring to heat up wash it immediately, do not wait.
