Yellow and pink foundation, undertones, what does it mean?

You have an undertone in your skin. Go out in natural light and see what color the veins look like on your wrist, if your veins look green or blue green you have a warm undertone. If you have blue or purpley looking veins you have a cool undertone. It is good to know what your undertone is so you have a better foundation fit. If you have warm undertones find a foundation with pink undertones. If you have a cool undertone then try to find a foundation with yellow undertones.

Undertones are what they sound like- they're hints of a certain color in skin tones. Like someone with olive skin will usually have yellow/golden undertones. Someone who is usually extremely pale will usually have pinker. They can be hard to determine, but if you look, you can tell what undertones you/others have! You could get a foundation that's the right shade for you, but if you get it with the wrong undertone, it will look totally wrong. Definitely worth laying attention to!
