My eyeshadow constantly wears off like an hour after applying.. probably because I touch my eyes without even realizing it. is there a product or way to apply that will make it more long lasting?

Nars, Too Faced, Urban Decay, and Lorac all make great primers! If you want something on the cheaper side, or to just make sure it's a product you really want, I'd go with the elf primer. Works VERY well, and is super cheap!

Your going to need a eye primer. The nars one always gets the best review and the urban decay one is also very good. For drugstore, I've only tried the elf one and it was pretty good for the price! You may also have oily eye lids so the eyeshadow kinda just slides off. I don't have oily eyelids but missglamorozzi (I don't know how to spell it) on YouTube has oily eyelids and she has some tips and tricks.

If you don't want to buy a primer you can DIY it it's just 1 part concealer (I used Rimmel London's) and 1 part lotion (I used body shop orange body butter) it works well, matches your skin tone, and if you use scented lotion like I did it smells GREAT!

You can use primer, a base or concealer (just make sure to set it with translucent powder to prevent creasing. I have heard Nars primer is really good, but I just use my elf one, for something temporary. You can use a cream shadow like the Color Tattoos from Maybelline in a neutral color like Barely Branded, or you can use one of the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Milk, or Cottage Cheese.
