I remember for the longest time I couldn't do a messy bun. Then one day my friend said "do a ratchet bun" basically, put your hair upside down and act like a drunk person putting their hair in a bun. It works!

I love it when I have a low messy bun. Normally I braid a piece back, then throw it up into a low bun.
