I have Brown eyes and get tons of compliments when I wear purple. it also makes my eyes look more chocolatey. I'm not sure if that's too flashy for you though :p.

Purple definitely. I have this purple glittery eyeliner and it get so many compliments. Also dark blues work. Just find colors you like and test them out :)

Brown eyes go with everything because they're considered neutral. I think blues and greens go really well. Oh and gold too.
