I try not to use makeup tested on animals because its horribly cruel I heard that they stopped but I'm not sure if its true.

Yes as far as I know but have you tried elf cosmetics? They are cruelty free and affordable and I love there makeup.

It's beyond ridiculous that brands are still testing on animals in 2013. There's no reason for it and there's no reason to support these brands in any way. Maybelline should be ashamed, it's disgusting.

Really the only drugstore brands that don't test on animals are elf and physicians formula.

Sadly most good make up brands do still test on animals :( I am a vegan and use absolutely no animal products, food, or products that are tested on them! My personal opinion, ELF and flower beauty by drew Barrymore is such high quality makeup and is cruelty free :)

Wow, I just looked it up, and apparently there's some controversy.. sad considering I love their nail polishes.
