I need some new foundation and I really want to try Tarte. My problem is how do you KNOW you are getting the right match just from online? I am super fair, usually the lightest one in the drug store. Anyone have any tips or experience. Unfortunately the Sephora here is small and doesn't carry Tarte :(

I always like to find pictures and videos of women in the same shade.Hopefully you can find enough pics and vids to make your decision an easy one!

This is why I wish more companies offered foundation samples for purchase online. (Only three major ones that I know of do -- Coastal Scents, Sleek, and Face Atelier. (I'm not counting the small indie labels who sell predominantly mineral powder foundations.)) Not all of us live near department stores, or Sephora, or Ulta, et al, and have to order online.
If you know your undertone, as Nichole said, it does make it a little easier.
