I'm growing out my curly hair, and am currently at elbow length! I never brush it, I just run my fingers through it in the shower, I use tons of conditioner and hair oil to keep it healthy, and my hairdresser trims the ends of my hair every few months, which keeps it healthy and also keeps it growing, as well as preventing it from starting to shed. now its at the length it used to be I'm planning to start taking biotin. oh also I eat lots of protein, dairy and oily fish as that seems to make my hair grow nicer! since its curly it takes a long time to see results, but when I pulled a couple strands straight they went beyond my bellybutton haha.
