I am gonna purchase a white eye shadow base. I heard NYX was really good. So now I am confused... Is the jumbo pencil in Milk better than the eye shadow base in white?

I'd say the base is better. I don't have the white one, I have the skin tone one. But I do have Milk. And honestly, the base is just better. It pulls more pigment from the shadow, AND makes it last longer. Which is what a primer is supposed to do. I mean, Lorac primer is my forever and always. Lime Crime primer too. But out of Milk and the base, I'd go with the base.

I always apply a primer AND then a colored base. I use the skin tone one to tone down color, and I use milk or the white base(they work the same imo) to brighten the look or highten the color of the shadow. Either way, you should always start off with a primer.

Exactly what Mandy said. Milk isn't a primer - You still have to prime before using Milk.
I've never used their base before, but hopefully this can still help =]

I have both & use a primer before I use any. In my opinion they work just the same. The base is just a little easier to blend.
